Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://rmunifiedservices.com (the "Site") and the services provided by RM Unified Services ("RM Unified Services," "we," "us," or "our"), including phone, email, in-person, and text message communications (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About Our Services

From our office in Pharr, Texas, RM Unified Services provides:

• Income tax and financial services: individual, business, and corporate tax return preparation, business consultation, and notary public services.
• Health and life insurance: help comparing and enrolling in ACA Marketplace health plans, Medicare plans, and life, dental, and vision insurance.
• Auto and commercial insurance: auto, home, and commercial general liability insurance.

2. Important Disclosures

• Insurance products are offered through RM Unified Services, an independent insurance agency. Texas Department of Insurance license #TODO.
• We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent TODO organizations which offer TODO products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options. In Texas, the SHIP is HICAP: 1-800-252-9240.
• RM Unified Services is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the federal Medicare program, HealthCare.gov, or the IRS.
• Insurance quotes are estimates. Coverage, rates, and eligibility are decided by each insurance company, and coverage begins only once the company confirms it.
• Tax returns are prepared from the information and documents you provide. You are responsible for their accuracy and completeness, and for reviewing your return before you sign it.
• Our notary services are not legal services. We are not attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas and may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide information that is true, accurate, and complete, and to keep your appointments or cancel them in advance.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

These SMS terms apply to the RM Unified Services text messaging program, which covers all of our services.

Program description

When you opt in, RM Unified Services may send text messages to the mobile number you provide. Depending on what you agreed to, messages may include:

• Customer care messages: replies to your questions, appointment confirmations and reminders, and service updates.
• Marketing messages (only if you separately opted in): reminders, offers, and news about our services.

Example: "RM Unified Services: Hi Maria, this is a reminder of your appointment tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

How to opt in

You may opt in by checking the text message consent box when you book an appointment on our website at https://rmunifiedservices.com/book.html, by giving verbal or written consent to our team, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency and costs

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number that sent you the message. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. To join again, sign up as you did the first time or text START.

Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission, to opt in.

Privacy

Your mobile number and opt-in information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Use of the Site

The content on the Site is for general information only and is not tax, legal, financial, or insurance advice for your situation. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. All content on the Site belongs to RM Unified Services or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RM Unified Services and its owners and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hidalgo County, Texas.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the effective date above.
